Archbishop’s Cup St. Mary’s and Assumption seminary

The seminaries of Assumption and St. Mary’s meet every year in either San Antonio or Houston for a fraternal gathering and to play sport in volleyball, basketball, flag football, and soccer called the Archbishop’s Cup. This year, St. Mary’s visited San Antonio and we enjoy playing the different sports. This helps us to work as a team and support each other in the different difficulties during these activities.

In sports, it is necessary to work as a team and to support each other in the competition. Also this helped us to see our weakness and our strength as a group. We competed to get the best result, but it is necessary for our humility to accept a positive or negative result. Although I get injured during the soccer game; I enjoyed visiting the seminary where I started my studies in English and Philosophy at Assumption. May God continue guiding Assumption and St. Mary’s seminarians in our discernment process of our vocation.
