New air I am breathing; a new environment and definitely new challenges. My first semester here in Conception Seminary College has been great so far. One thing to highlight would be the brotherhood that there is here in the seminary. It is so easy to walk into each other’s rooms and get help or just hang out and get together with one another. In fact, our Rector, Father Russell, has even told us that there is a good energy between the sophomores. Another thing that I can highlight here would be the outdoors and nature here. We don’t have to worry about the noise of the city or traffic. Not that I don’t like it, but there is a special feeling about being more out in the country. It gives it more of a feeling of retreating from whatever it is out there and focus on your own formation. And another thing to highlight is the transition. It has been so easy to accommodate to the schedule and seminary life, the reason for that is because of my roots in St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in El Paso. I am looking forward into this semester, in the good days and the challenging days. I am very anxious to find out how am I going to come out this semester with the help of Christ and Mary: either more mature, more academic, or even more spiritual, and especially more knowledgeable in the faith. Please keep my brothers and I in your prayers. Thank you and God bless.
