I have begun my second part of Pastoral Year here at Blessed Sacrament parish. The first semester went well and I finally adjusted to parish life and also being back in El Paso again after being away for close to three years. In January I returned to St. Mary’s Seminary for my annual retreat. The retreat went well and I am thankful for some time to rest, relax and have time to pray to continue discerning my vocation towards priesthood. I returned to the parish a week after the retreat and looked forward to the spring semester because I am going to give more presentations in Adult Formation and other groups in the parish. I have finally settled into parish life and much more relaxed at the work I am doing. I have really enjoyed my time here with the people and learning the identity of a priest. Also learning how to minister to many people in different situation where they seek spiritual or emotional help. The rest of my pastoral year I feel will go well and I pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit to learn the will of the Lord in my life.
St. Charles of Borromeo, pray for me.
